“The children and their tree.’
Story written by: Manon Grira (9) Paris, France
Once upon a time there were two children who had a tree. They went to see their tree every day.
Their mother had enough of seeing her children go to their tree, so she negotiated with a man to have the tree removed.
When the children found out, they went to renegotiate with the man, and he gave them the tree back.
The children told their mother: “we asked the man to put back our tree”.
The mother answered : “ok, but on one condition: you must spend more time with me”.
The children said: “very well, but you’re coming with us”.
The Mom said: “ok”.
They lived happy ever after.”
