Tendai is a public health specialist from Zimbabwe and has a keen interest in promoting habits and lifestyles that encourage environmental stewardship particularly among youth and women in marginalized communities. By being a part of this organization, Tendai hopes to work closely with women and young people in coming up with viable solutions that are environmentally friendly as well as income generating. Throughout her work as a public health specialist, Tendai has witnessed how some of the health disparities-particularly those that affect women and girls are aggravated by poor land utilization and lack of environmental stewardship. Thus efforts to address environmental challenges are core to her central work of promoting health, education and social justice to women and girls.
